How do rental agreements work? All Warrensburg Mini-Storage rentals are on a convenient month-to-month basis. Your lease will automatically renew each month until you choose to cancel.
How can I pay my rent? We offer two easy ways to pay: online through our portal and via mail. We accept ACH debit, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Amex).
When is rent due? Rent is due on the same day of the month that you originally signed your lease. To help you stay on track, we can send a payment reminder to your email 7 days before your due date.
How do I avoid late fees? Payments are considered past due 10 days after your due date. We highly recommend setting up Autopay through our online portal to ensure you never miss a deadline.
Do you offer long-term discounts? Yes! If you pay for 11 months in advance, your 12th month is free. Please contact our office at 217-762-7883 to set up an annual rental plan.
Access & Security
When can I access my unit? You have full 24-hour access to your unit, 365 days a year.
What security features do you provide? Our facility features high-visibility lighting and frequent property inspections. For maximum security, we require the use of disc locks, which are available for purchase directly from our office.
What if I lose my key? If you lose your key, please contact our office. We can assist with lock removal for a nominal fee. For security reasons, we do not keep copies of tenant keys.
Can I insure my belongings? Warrensburg Mini-Storage does not provide insurance for your belongings; however, contact your homeowner's or renter's insurance for potential coverage options.
Rules & Move-Out
What items are prohibited in storage? To keep our facility safe and pest-free, we do not allow the storage of food, live animals, plants, or firearms. Additionally, hazardous or combustible materials (such as paint, oil, or gasoline) are strictly prohibited. Please ensure all power equipment is drained of fuel before storage.
How do I schedule a move-out? We require at least 20 days' written notice prior to your move-out date. You can submit this via email, mail, or through our online portal.
What is the move-out checklist? To close your account and avoid further charges, please ensure your unit is empty, swept clean, and free of any trash. Most importantly, remove your lock on your scheduled move-out day so our manager knows the unit is ready for the next tenant.
